The Birth of The Nurture Bubble

The Birth of The Nurture Bubble

A few months ago, I was eagerly preparing to launch Becoming More Life Coaching. What I didn’t realise then was how this journey would gently unfold into something more — a space I’ve called The Nurture Bubble.

The name came to me while thinking about group sessions for carers. I wanted to create a kind, nourishing space where those who give so much to others — caregivers, support workers, busy women — could receive something in return. What I didn’t expect was how this idea would grow into me creating podcasts for selfcare, wellness, nurturing.

Yes, I’m now a podcaster — something I never imagined myself saying! But here I am, incredibly grateful to be creating this gentle podcast for emotional wellbeing.

It’s been a learning curve, and a joyful one. In fact, one of the most powerful things I’ve learned is that you’re never too old to grow into your true self. As George Eliot beautifully said, “It is never too late to be what you might have been.” At 63, I’m still becoming more — and loving the journey.

In creating The Nurture Bubble with Jenny Rankine podcast I wondered if in fact there was a need for everyone to hear calm and gentle reminders on topics such as selfcare, self-compassion, giving back some nurturing by topping up our cup, even just a little bit. This is what I aim to offer in The Nurture Bubble podcasts. For the carers, the givers, the busy women who all give so much to others, often putting themselves lower and lower down the list. These episodes are short — under 10 minutes — but offer practical self-care tools, small shifts, and meaningful reflections to reset your energy and refill your cup.

I was very excited to be ready (after a steep learning curve that included learning how to edit, record etc), to air very first podcast on Monday 27th of July 25. To celebrate the launch, I released five episodes across that first week, creating a mini-series around micro moments of self-care. Each episode focuses on something small but powerful — from breathing techniques to permission to rest.

Starting Monday 4th August, new episodes will drop weekly. The next mini-series is all about finding joy in our everyday moments.

I hope The Nurture Bubble becomes a quiet, supportive part of your week — a space where you feel seen, soothed, and gently inspired.

I’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or even ideas for future podcast themes. Is there something you’d like to hear about? Let me know.

Thanks for being here — and for taking a moment to nurture you.
With warmth,
Jenny
